This session is designed to help educators establish strong, positive connections with their students starting from the very first day of school. It will equip educators with practical strategies to foster meaningful connections with students from the very beginning of the school year. Participants will explore the importance of building trust, creating a welcoming classroom environment, and creating a foundation of positive rapport that supports both academic success and classroom management.
Session will discuss how to write Extended Constructed Responses and Short Constructed Responses for STAAR Testing. We will also look at how ECR and SCR responses are graded, misconceptions students have, and using relevant text evidence.
